Backend - User Management
This guide will show you how to manage users.
Note that these operations can be handled with site administrator privilege.
First, visit siteadmin page of your website, and login as a siteadmin.
How to add users
As described in Here, user account can be created as an administrator privilege.
1) Click on Users / Add Users / Add User menu on the left sidebar, then Add User page will be displayed.
2) Fill in user information such as Username, Email, Password and Confirm Password.
3) Choose Verified Email option as Yes or No. If you choose No option, this user need email confirmation to upload videos or photos.
4) [Optional] Fill in First Name and Last Name. In addition, you can upload an avatar of this new user.
How to manage users
Click on Users / Manage Users menu on the left sidebar to open Manage Users page.
In this page, all registered users are listed. You can filter users with detailed user information such as Username, First or Last name, Country, Gender, Status, Email Confirmation and Type.
Option 1. How to view user information
Click on the thumbnail of a user list to view user information. You can view basic user information such as Gender, Last IP, Type, Status and other activities.
Option 2. How to edit user information
Click on Edit button of a user to edit user information, then Edit user modal with several tabs such as Account, Personal, Location and Profile will be displayed. Here, you can edit user information in detail.
Option 3. How to update user thumbnail
1) Click on Thumbnail button of a user list, then Thumbnail modal will be displayed.
2) Choose an image file to update thumbnail of a user, and click on Update button.
3) In order to delete thumbnail, check Delete Avator and click on Update button.
Option 4. How to suspend/active a user
Click on Suspend / Active button to toggle a user status as Active or Suspended.
Option 5. How to delete a user
You can delete a user by clicking on Delete button of a user list.
Option 6. How to select multiple users
1) Click on Select All button to select all of users.
2) Select / unselect by clicking checkbox on left of every user list. Once users are selected, you can delete, suspend or approve them by clicking on Delete, Suspend or Approve button.
How to email user(s)
1) Click on Emails / Email User menu on the left sidebar, then Email User page will be displayed.
2) Fill in Username, Subject and Content.
3) Once you finish editing email, click Send button to email user.
If the email address of a user is incorrect, sending email would be failed.
4) If you want email all of users, click on Emails / Email All Users menu on the left sidebar, and edit email to send emails to all of users.
How to handle requests
Once a user reports other user(s), you will be noticed in Users - Flagged page, which can be displayed by clicking on Users / Requests / Flagged menu on the left sidebar.
In order to unflag a flagged user, click on Unflag button of a user list.
