This guide will show you how to upload a video.
How to upload a video
There are 2 ways to enter a video upload page.
- One is to click on UPLOAD menu on right of main menu bar. Click on Videos icon in the upload page.
- Another one is to click on Upload Video button in the Videos page.
1) Choose a video file from your pc, or drag and drop a video file on the video file box.
2) In the next page, fill in the video information such as Title, Description and Tags, and choose Category.
If any video categories are created yet, you cannot upload any videos. To create a video category, please login into siteadmin page. For more information, read Upload Your First Video or Backend - Login Into Siteadmin.
3) If you don't want to leave any digital footprint due to privacy reasons, choose "Anonymous" option as "Yes - anonymous". You can also choose Privacy option as Public or Private.
If you choose Public, all of users can watch your video. In the other hand, only your friends can watch your video if you choose Private.
You can change the settings of every video via User / My Videos page. In this page, you can either change the video's information such as Title, Description, Tags, Category and Privacy, or delete it.
4) Once you fill up information of the video, click on Upload button, then your video will be uploaded.
Althogh your video is uploaded, is is not listed on Videos page until administrator activates it. To activate, you should login into siteadmin page as an administrator privilege. If you are a user, please contact with an administrator of the website to activate it.
